Testimonies

Stolen Car
I had just packed his car when two people approached me selling insurance.

As we spoke, one of them asked to use the washroom so I went inside the house with them mistakenly leaving my key in the car. Ten minuets later, when I returned to retrieve my keys, my car had been stolen. The two men who came in to sell me the Insurance had also within a twinkle of an eye disappeared. Then I knew straight away, I had been scammed.

I called the police who promptly responded, they took all the necessary details, a few days later they called and said to me there was insufficient evidence to pursue the case. I had by this time called my Insurance company who said the car theft was due to my negligently leaving my keys in the vehicle and so would not pay for the loss.

With the Police deciding not to pursue the matter and the Insurance company saying they would not pay, I did the only thing I knew how. I prayed and trusted God.

The church then entered into a period of Prayer and Fasting (I Will Command My Blessing 2012). So I joined and continued praying and believing that the decision taken by the Insurance Company will be reversed. I trusted God, placed every document on the car including the Insurance on the altar of God.

Three weeks after the car was stolen on a Sunday service the man of God said “There is somebody here with an insurance case. The insurance company has said that they would not pay but God is overturning that verdict in your favour.” I knew this was for me, I believed it and thanked God for it. The very next day, the Insurance Company called to tell me that they had changed their mind and would to now pay for the lost vehicle.

I just want to thank God for his Goodness and his faithfulness and use this forum to encourage someone not to give up, no matter what the odds are. Hold on to prayer and the God who did it for me will also do it for you.

Car Accident
I was running an errand for our Ladies Ministry en route to our Royal Ladies retreat (the Royal Ladies Ministry UK Conference) in March 2012 when a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction jumped the red light and smashed into my car, wrecking the frontage in the process.

I believed that God had something in store for me and so in spite of the trauma and pain in my body, even after receiving treatment from the ambulance crew at the scene of the accident and a further trip to the hospital, I was determined that the nothing would prevent me from attending the Conference some 54 miles away.

In spite of a favourable Police report and witness statements from by-standers and three other women who were traveling with me, the Insurance Company concluded bizarrely that there was not enough evidence so they would not pay for the £7000 repair bill.

I did not give up and drew strength and assurances from the Conference Ministration and the word of God believing that God would turn the situation around for my good. I kept praying and believing God. Two months later I received a call from the Insurance Company apologising to me and saying they had reversed their initial decision and had as at the time of this testimony taken responsibility and fully paid for the cost of repair.

While thanking God, I would like to encourage someone that the same person, company or place you were rejected for which you thought all hope was lost, is the same person and place God will exalt you for with God nothing is impossible. Amen.
